What is the working pressure range of solenoid valves? +
Shuntong solenoid valve working pressure ranges vary by model: 2W Series is 0-10bar, ZS Series is 0-8bar, STP Pilot Piston Series is 0.03-1.6MPa, and STTG High Pressure Series can reach 200bar. Please refer to the technical parameter table on each product detail page for specific pressure parameters.
What is the working temperature range of solenoid valves? +
Standard solenoid valves have a working temperature range of -5°C to 80°C. High temperature models can reach -5°C to 200°C (with PTFE seals). Ultra-low temperature models can go as low as -196°C. The sealing material determines the temperature range: NBR -5°C to 80°C, FKM -10°C to 120°C, PTFE -5°C to 200°C.
What is the protection rating of solenoid valves? +
Standard solenoid valves have a protection rating of IP54 (dust and splash water resistant). The STDF Underwater Series has a protection rating of IP68, suitable for long-term submerged operation. For outdoor installation, IP65 or above protection rating is recommended.
How to install solenoid valves? +
Installation notes: The valve body arrow direction must match the media flow direction; horizontal installation is recommended with the coil facing upward vertically; coil downward installation is prohibited; clean the pipeline before installation; install a filter before the valve (≥80 mesh); ensure power voltage matches the coil nameplate; provide proper grounding and waterproofing measures.
